“Vietnam’s meat and foodstuff sector in quarter 2/2009” is a continuation of the early reports published by the Information Center for Agriculture and Rural Development such as “Meat and foodstuff in 6 months”; “Consumption of meat and foodstuff during 2009 Tet festival”, and the annual report “Vietnam’s meat and foodstuff sector in 2008 and prospects for 2009”.

“Vietnam’s meat and foodstuff sector in quarter 2/2009” is a continuation of the early reports published by the Information Center for Agriculture and Rural Development such as “Meat and foodstuff in 6 months”; “Consumption of meat and foodstuff during 2009 Tet festival”, and the annual report “Vietnam’s meat and foodstuff sector in 2008 and prospects for 2009”. This is the first quarterly report on the meat and foodstuff sector complied and publicized by the Information Center for Agriculture and Rural Development under the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development with the aim of presenting comprehensive and most updated analyses of the factors affecting the market for meat and foodstuff within the first 6 months of 2009, prospects for market trends in the final months of the year.
