Coffee exports climb 87% in Jan-Sep

Vietnam has exported 40,000 tonnes of coffee earning US$67 million in September, bringing the total output of export coffee to 975,000 tonnes with the total export turnover of US$1.47 billion during the first nine months of the year, up 45% in output and 87% in value.


Currently, the export coffee price increased from US$80 to US$100 a tonne from the same period of last month to reach nearly US$1,800 a tonne, the highest value to date, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
