Construction of international port starts in Binh Dinh province

The Gemadept Nhon Hoi international port broke ground in the Nhon Hoi economic zone, central Binh Dinh province, on December 7.
The 230 million USD port will have two 480-metre long berths capable of accommodating 30,000 DWT vessels and 10 wharfs with a total length of over 2,117 metres.
The port is expected to handle 2 million tonnes of cargo per year by 2010 and 9.5 million tonnes by 2020
