The two companies of Vietnam and Iraqi joint in rice processing

On December,8 the joint-venture enterprise of processing and exporting rice (between the Vietnam Northern Food Corporation and Iraqi Cereal Trade Corporation) opened a rice mills in Thoi Thanh hamlet , Thoi Thuan commune, Thot Not district, Can Tho city.
Present at the ceremony were Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Cao Duc Phat, and Iraqi Trade Minister Abdul Falah Hassan Al Sudany, and some other domestic enterprises. The capacity of the mill is 120,000- 130,000 tonnes per year. The innitial capital is about 12 million USD of which 45% comes from the Vietnam Northern Food Corporation and 55% from Iraqi Cereal Trade Corporation
