“At present, the company has 30 shops in Vietnam. With current business growth, the company plans to open 30 to 40 shops from now to the year’s end. Our objective is to run 100 Lotteria fast-food shops in Vietnam. Our company’s business principle puts reputation on the top, not revenues. Therefore, we always try to meet customer requirements in taste, hygiene and service. We continuously diversify fast-food categories to fit the tastes of Vietnamese and foreign customers. Our popular dishes are chicken, shrimp burger, hamburger, cheese and bulgogi” Mr IL Sik Rho, General Director of Lotteria Vietnam, said.
On average, a Lotteria product needs one year of research, however now customers can have an eye-catching shrimp burger suitable for Asian people.
Five years ago, Mr IL Sik Rho travelled to Vietnam and found the tastes of Vietnamese people similar to Koreans. Fortunately, he was sent to work in Vietnam and found a suitable environment to mix and match the two countries’ gastronomies.
“Vietnam has joined the WTO, the Vietnamese economy grows continuously, Vietnamese living standards are consistently improving, the goods and service market is diversified, more urban zones are built and people have less time for rest and cooking. Thus, fast-food will be the choice of many people. Vietnam is a very potential market.”
We are studying ways to bring our products to all classes and make fast-food a favourite and convenience dish, Mr IL Sik Rho said.
