Ha Noi’s export revenues is estimated at over US$3.53 billion in the first ten months of the year, a year-on-year rise of 21.4 percent.

To the city’s ten-month export turnover, State-run enterprises made up US$1.85 billion while foreign-invested enterprises accounted for US$1.35 billion and the remaining was contributed by private enterprises.

Ink jet printer was the city’s biggest foreign currency earner with US$745.6 million, followed by garment and apparels with US$584.9 million and farm products with US$583.9 million.

Also in the past ten months of the year, the city spent more than US$12 billion on imports, a year-on-year rise of 18.7 percent.

Imports chiefly included petroleum, machinery and equipment.
