The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has approved a plan by the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers’ Association to help poor farmers boost their incomes.

The three-year project will give cows and offer breeding technique training to poor farmers in the communes of Long Phuoc, Binh Loi and Binh Hiep in district 9, Binh Chanh and Cu Chi districts, respectively.

The 1.95 billion VND (120,000 USD) project is funded by US Heiter International, a non-profit organisation.
