Vietnamese businesses develop rubber industry in Laos

Businesses under the Viet Nam Rubber Industry Group have invested in growing rubber trees on 10,343 ha in Laos under a cooperative programme between the two governments.
The programme aims to put 100,000 ha under rubber trees in Laos, said Ngo Quang Minh, Deputy Head of the Investment Cooperation Board of the group.
These businesses plan to expand the acreage of rubber trees plantation to 58,600 ha in the near future to help fulfill the target
