The Central Highlands province of Dak Lak has so far generated jobs for 25,060 ethnic minority people in rural areas of which 600 people have been sent abroad.

The provincial Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Department cooperated with districts of Krong Buk, Krong Bong, Krong Nang, Ea Sup, Buon Don and Ma D'Rac to hold job fairs, helping local laborers find jobs at farm processing plants, wood mills, and rubber plantations both inside and outside the province.

The province also channeled capital worth VND10.15 billion sourced from national social programs to help ethnic minority people develop family-based production and improve their income.
