The Ministry of Trade’s commercial information centre said China had become a major export market for Vietnamese farm products, including rice, cashew, peanut, sesame and semi-processed tea.
Chinese partners are importing 25 percent broken rice at 233 USD a tonne. The price of cashews per tonne will rise 38 percent than the price last month because of the high demand from China.China would also like to import peanuts and sesame from Viet Nam year-round, but local businesses can only meet 60-70 percent of their Chinese partners’ requirements
