The agreements bring the number of TFF-funded projects to 22 since the fund's establishment in 2004.
The three projects will focus on strengthening the capacity of relevant agencies in enforcing forestry laws, piloting the multiple-purpose forest management model in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong and promoting pro-poor forestry in northern central Viet Nam.
TFF is a financing mechanism established under a Prime Minister's decision and contributed to by the governments of Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland with technical support from Germany.
The TFF aims to hamrmonise the requirements of donors and align with the government's planning and administrative systems in order to support urgent priorities of the forestry sector specified in the Viet Nam Forest Development Strategy (2006-2020).
