Coffee
Coffee price continuously fluctuated in the week (21^st-25^th of May). In the beginning of the week, Robusta coffee price (domestic) was 1,673 USD/ton (the same level in comparison with previous week price). In 22^nd of May, price increased to 1.688 USD/ton and it was 1,678 USD/ton in 24^th of May. This price maintained to the end of the week. World coffee price had soft fluctuation also, Robusta coffee in London was sold at price of 1,741 USD/ton in the beginning of the week, it decreased to 1,727 USD/ton in the following day (May 22^nd) and it decreased to lowest price in 23^rd of May at 1,711 USD/ton. The price progressively restored and it was 1,725 USD/ton in the end of the week. It is predicted that coffee price will increase in coming weeks

Rubber

Rubber price continuously changed in the week. In the beginning of week, RSS3 rubber in Tokyo market (Japan) was 292 JPY/kg. In 22^nd of May, it increased to 292.4 JPY/kg. At the middle of the week, it suddenly went down to 298.8 UPY/kg. The price tended to restore in following days and was 297.2 JPY/ton in the end of the week. The world rubber price increased after softly decreasing time. It is predicted that it will continuously increase in going weeks..

Exporting rice

Domestic and world price generally has no significant fluctuation in the week (21^st–25^th of May). In the beginning of the week, 5% broken rice price of Vietnam has no change in comparison with last week price (maintained at 299.5 USD/ton). In the middle of the week, price had soft increase at 301.5 USD/ton, and there was no more change until the end of the week. 5% broken rice of Thailand (export) also has no significant change. In the beginning of the week, the price was 317 USD/ton, it was 318 USD/ton in 23 of May and immediately decreased to 316 USD/ton after that day. Vietnam exporting rice price tend to increase at the moment, it is predicted that the price will highly increase in coming weeks of June.

High quality Rice seed

There is no critical change in the price of high quality rice seed in the week. Average price of the week was 3,045 VND/kg. With this price level, high quality rice seed increased a little bit compared to the average level of 3,040 VND/kg in last week. In the beginning of the week, the price was 3,040 VND/kg, it increased to 3,050 VND/kg at the middle of the week and has no change in the rest of time. At the moment, high quality rice seed price is quite stable. It is predicted that the price will has no change in the coming weeks.

Fertilizer& Pesticide

Bassa pesticide price in An Giang province was 22,000 VND/bottle (retail price), this price which was the price in 2 previous weeks. However, importing fertilizer and pesticide prices are strongly varying. It is predicted that fertilizer and pesticide price will rapidly increase in coming weeks.

RE sugar ( Domestic)

Sugar price tended to increase after short time of slightly decreasing. In An Giang province, retail price was 7,500 VND/kg, the price in Ben Tre was higher, it was about 8,500 VND/kg. Sugar price in Lam Dong was 8,000 VND/kg (decreasing by 500 VND/kg in comparison with previous week) and it was 7,500 VND/kg in Kien Giang province (increasing by 300 VND/kg). With the event of increasing price in the world sugar market, it is predicted that domestic sugar price will highly increase in the end of May and early weeks of June.

Peppercorn

Domestic and world price of peppercorn suddenly decreased in the week. Average retail price of domestic black pepper was 56,000 VND/kg (decreased by 2,000 VND/kg in comparison with previous week). World peppercorn price significantly decreased because of Vietnam price’s decrease in 21^st of May (after Vietnam informed to reduce GL peppercorn price to 3,600-3,650 USD/ton). It is predicted that the price will decrease in some going weeks.
