Coffee Coffee price in this week is higher than that in previous week. In the beginning of the week, domestic Robusta coffee’s price was 1.695 USD/ton (the price of last week was 1.678 USD/ton). In the middle and the end of the week, the price softly increased at 1.705 USD/ton. World price of coffee had fluctuation also, in the beginning of the week (28th of May), Robusta coffee in London market was sold at the price of 1.740 USD/ton. It meat that coffee price had restored signals after devaluation time (at 1.725 USD/ton). In the following day, it decreased to 1.733 USD/ton and in the middle of the week (30th of May), the price was at lowest price in week (1.727 USD/ton). In the following days of the week, the price restored at 1.708 USD/ton and suddenly increased to 1.777 USD/ton in the last day. It is predicted that, coffee price will continuously increase with the world coffee price’s fluctuation in coming weeks. |  |

Rubber Rubber price consecutively decreased in the week. In the beginning of the week (28th of May), RSS3 rubber price in Tokyo market (Japan) was 293.2 JPY/kg. At that price level, it decreased by 4 JPY/kg in comparison with price in the last day of previous week. The following day of the week, the price consecutively decreased, from 287.6 JPY/kg (29th of May) to 285.4 JPY/kg (30th of May) and 282.7 JPY/kg (31th of May). The last day of the week (1st of June), price has no restored signal; it remained at 282.7 JPY/kg. It is predicted that rubber price will slightly decrease in going week. |  |

Exporting rice Domestic and world rice price generally tended to softly increase. In the beginning of the week, 5% broken rice of Vietnam has no change in comparison to last week (remained at 301.5 USD/ton). This price level maintained in 3 days continuously. In 31st of May, the price increased to 304 USD/ton and there is no fluctuation until the end of the week. 5% broken rice price of Thailand also has no critical change, in the beginning days of the week, the price was 318 USD/ton (slightly increased in comparison to the level 316 USD/ton of previous week). In 31st of May, it decreased to 316 USD/ton and increased to 319 USD/ton in 2 last days of the week. At the moment, exporting rice tends to increase. It is predicted that it will increase in coming weeks. |  |

High quality Rice seed High quality rice seed’s price had no change in the week. From Monday (28th of May) to Friday (1st of June)), price was 3.050 VND/kg. This price level also was the level of previous week. However, comparing to previous week, average price of this week slightly increased (from 3.045 VND/kg to 3.050 VND/kg). Rice seed’ price tend to be stable at the moment. It is predicted that there is no fluctuation in rice seed’s price in going week. |  |

Fertilizer& Pesticide DAP fertilizer price almost had no change in the week. In the beginning of the week, retail price in An Giang province was 7.600 VND/kg (decreased by 100 VND/kg comparing to last week). In the middle and the end of the week, the price was 7.700 VND/kg Standing on the same situation of DAP fertilizer, URE fertilizer price had no critical fluctuation in he week. The retail price in An Giang province was 5.400 VND/kg in the beginning of the week, and was 5.600 VND/kg in the following days (price level of some previous weeks also). Bassa pesticide price in An Giang province was 22,000 VND/bottle (retail price), this price which was the price in 2 previous weeks. However, importing fertilizer and pesticide prices are strongly varying. It is predicted that fertilizer and pesticide price will rapidly increase in coming weeks. |

RE sugar ( Domestic) Sugar price tended to increase after short time of slightly decreasing. In An Giang province, retail price was 7,500 VND/kg, the price in Ben Tre was higher, it was about 9,500 VND/kg (1.000 VND/kg higher than previous week). Sugar price in Lam Dong was 8,000 VND/kg and it was 7,500 VND/kg in Kien Giang province (the same price level to last week). With the event of increasing price in the world sugar market, it is predicted that domestic sugar price will highly increase in coming weeks of June. |  |
