Agricultural land use rights resolution passed

The Standing Committee of the 11th National Assembly on June 18 passed a resolution aimed at limiting speculation in agricultural lands in the hands of single owners, whether individuals or organizations.
The resolution was passed during the opening day of the NA Standing Committee’s 50th session under the chairmanship of Vice NA Chairman Truong Quang Duoc. 

During the 50th session, which is scheduled to close on June 21, the NA Standing Committee will consider and give guidance to some important issues and working plan for the NA Legislative Building Working Board. They will discuss the establishments of anti-corruption committees at localities and preparations for the first session of the 12th National Assembly, according to NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong. 

The NA Standing Committee will also consider the Legal Committee’s proposals on Government’s decrees on implementing the law on legal assistance and ordinance on conducting civil verdicts; the resolution on member of the judge council of the People’s Supreme Court; decide the members of the council for selecting judges of the People’s Supreme Court and the Central Military Court. 

Amendments to the ordinance on preferences to people, who rendered service to the revolution, will be also considered and passed at the session
