Domestic and export rice prices are forecast to get stable or slightly increase in the coming weeks.
Rice trading is quite eventful, demand for importing rice is at high level. Therefore, demand for rice procurement in the country is increasing. Along with decreasing rice supplu, growing demand will push domestic rice prices up in the upcoming time.

- 2,556 ha of paddy are flooded and fall in Typhoon Mirinae
- Domestic rice prices remain stable or increase slightly
- Export rice prices continue to rise
- India decided to import 30,000 ton rice
- The Philippines may buy another 62,500 tons of rice
- Export rice prices are forecast to continue the upward trend
