Sugar production up a sweet 49 percent: Most sugar plants nationwide have finished their production for this year’s sugarcane season
The plants produced a total of 1.12 million tonnes of sugar this year, up 49 percent compared to last season.They also exported 5,000 tonnes of refined sugar worth about 2 million USD so far this year, accounting for 33 percent of this year’s target
